Leaked Drone Footage Showed Israel Dropped A Bomb On A Wounded Palestinian Man Calling For Help

An Israeli military drone killed an injured Palestinian man in Gaza by dropping a bomb on him.
In a leaked drone video obtained by Al Jazeera on Sunday, Sep. 22, a man who was unable to move and lying on the ground surrounded by rubble was seen calling for help.
A few seconds later, the Israeli military killed him by dropping a bomb near him, and a billow of smoke enveloped the area.
In the past few months, several videos have shown Israeli drones directly targeting and killing civilians with drones.
Earlier in March, leaked drone footage showed Israel targeting and killing four unarmed civilians walking in Khan Younis in Gaza with missiles.
The video showed four unarmed Palestinian men walking on a road that was bulldozed by Israeli forces before they withdrew from the area.
It was clear from the video that the four civilians were unarmed and did not pose any danger.
The drone then follows and targets the men with several missiles, killing two of them with the first missile.
Then the third man is hit by another missile, and the fourth is seen stumbling to the ground and trying to crawl away before he was also struck and killed by a missile.
The four men had been searching for their homes or what remains of them in Khan Younis, according to Al Jazeera.
Directly targeting civilians is a war crime under International Humanitarian Law, also known as the rules of war.
Since the beginning of its genocide in Gaza, Israel has killed more than 41,455 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injured more than 95,000 people, with many still missing under the rubble.
