Anne Hathaway casually dropped an “inshaallah,” — إن شاء الله — “God willing” or “if God wills it” in Arabic, during an interview and people are going wild about it online.

During an interview with People magazine while promoting her latest film, “The Devil Wears Prada 2”, Hathaway talked about aging and what life looks like at 43 after spending more than two decades in Hollywood.

In the middle of reflecting on her hopes for the future, she said "I want to have a long, healthy life, inshallah, I hope so."

Hathaway said the word so naturally, which made people love it, especially Arabs and Muslims around the world, who noted that her pronunciation and timing suggested she actually understood the phrase's meaning and was not just using it casually or incorrectly.

People online called her "sister Anne" and a “certified Habibti”.

Meanwhile, others replied with "Inshallah my princess of Genovia," a reference to her role in “The Princess Diaries” and "MashaAllah sister Anne."
