Two Young Women And A Girl Were Murdered On A Livestream In Argentina And People Want Justice
Women’s rights organizations and thousands of people, alongside the families of the victims, took to the streets to protests the femicides.

Two young women and a 15-year-old girl were tortured on a livestream in Argentina before being killed, and people want justice.
On Sept. 19, 15-year-old Lara Gutierrez and 20-year-olds Brenda del Castillo and Morena Verri from Buenos Aires got into a van believing they were headed for a party.
Five days later on Wednesday Sept. 24, police found their bodies buried in a garden in Southern Buenos Aires, each with multiple injuries.

Gutierrez, the youngest, had 5 fingers and part of her ear cut, del Castillo had multiple stabbing wounds and Verri had her faced smashed in.

They appeared all have been injured while they were still alive before they were murdered, according to Spanish newspaper El País.

Police have arrested at least 12 people, who revealed the torture had been broadcast in a private social media group to gang members as a warning.

One suspect claimed one of the victims had stolen 5 kilograms of cocaine, but police have yet to confirm the information.
Police have yet to catch the criminal mastermind, who is believed to be a Peruvian drug trafficker named Pequeño J or Little J in English.
On Saturday, Sept. 27, women’s rights organizations and thousands of people, alongside the families of the victims, took to the streets to protests the femicides, which is the murder of a woman due to her gender.

Activists have also condemned attempts to discredit the victims over alleged drug links, saying no woman deserves to die.

In Argentina, a man kills a woman every 36 hours, according to women’s rights groups.
