A Guy Stopped To Fix This Bangladeshi Reporter’s Collar While He Was On Air And People Love The “Pookie” Moment

A video of a man adjusting the collar of a reporter giving a live TV broadcast in Bangladesh has gone viral, and people can’t get enough of the "pookie" moment.

On Tuesday, March 25, Ekhon TV journalist Redwan Ahmed Shawon posted the live stream clip on his Facebook page, with the caption “Pookie Hujur.”

Since the 2020s, Gen Z has popularized "Pookie" as a fun and cute nickname for loved ones.

In the video, Shawon was reporting from the streets of Dhaka, discussing Bangladeshi cricketer Tamim Iqbal’s health after he suffered a heart attack during a Dhaka Premier League 2025 match on March 24.

As Shawon was reporting, a random man walking by noticed Shawon’s collar was askew, stopped to fix it for him and then quickly walked away.

Since Shawon shared the video on Facebook, it has garnered more than two million views, with many praising the spontaneous act of kindness in the comments.

"Brother, what a beautiful moment. There are still so many humble people around us," one person wrote.

Almost has reached out to Shawon for comment.
