Recently, a video from Yiwu city in Zhejiang, China, showing a group of cats respectfully waiting in line to get their meals went viral online.

The video was originally shared by a user named "等.." on Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok, and quickly caught the attention of viewers.

It shows a line of cats neatly lining up outside a supermarket, before one cat tried to cut in line, only to be slapped by another cat.

The woman who captured the video said she had been shopping with her roommate when they stumbled upon the the cats, and they couldn’t help but feel it was "adorable.”

The cats are reportedly local strays who were waiting for the supermarket staff to feed them.

As of now, the video has garnered over 960,000 likes, more than 30,000 comments, and nearly 790,000 shares on Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok.
