The Foreign Press Association’s Leader Slammed Israel For Using Lies To Justify Killing Journalists Like Anas
Williams said Palestinian coverage in Gaza should be trusted, adding that they’ve “documented the ongoing massacres, and the Israelis don’t like it.”

During an interview with CNN, the president of the Foreign Press Association, Ian Williams, said people should believe Palestinian journalists and condemned Israel for deliberately killing journalists like Anas a-Sharif in Gaza.
“I don’t care whether Al-Sharif was in Hamas or not. We don’t kill journalists for being Republicans or Democrats or, in Britain, the Labour Party,” Williams said, adding he does not believe the allegations after Israel repeated lies.
He said Palestinian coverage in Gaza should be trusted, adding that they’ve “documented the ongoing massacres, and the Israelis don’t like it.”
When asked by the host whether evidence from the Israeli government would change his view against Israel, he said that the Israeli military denying access to independent witnesses to Gaza raises questions about what Israel might be trying to hide.
“We work on the balance of proof. Our job is to challenge authority. The authority here is denying access to independent witnesses,” he said, “It doesn't do Israel any great favors, but basically makes everything they say totally questionable.”
Israel’s genocide in Gaza has killed more than 62,614 Palestinians since Oct. 7, 2023.
