12 Activists Are Sailing All The Way To Gaza From Italy On A Ship Filled With Aid To Break Israel’s Blockade

12 activists part of the Freedom Flotilla Coalition (FCC) are sailing all the way to Gaza from Italy with a ship carrying aid to break Israel’s blockade and siege on the Strip, just less than one month after their previous ship was attacked and destroyed.

FFC is a coalition of international pro-Palestine activists and organizations, established in 2010, aiming to challenge and break Israel’s long blockade on the Gaza Strip since 2007 by delivering humanitarian aid directly to Gaza via ships.

On Sunday, June 1, FFC launched the Madleen, a civilian ship now sailing toward Gaza carrying humanitarian aid and international human as a “nonviolent direct action to confront Israel's unlawful blockade and escalating war crimes against Gaza.”
