gaza genocide two years israel stats

Nowhere is safe for Palestinians in Gaza.

This statement has been repeated, again and again, since Oct. 7, 2023, and yet it continues to ring true two years on.

Two years since Israel began its genocide, it has been indiscriminately attacking and killing Palestinian men, women and children.

It has raided, bombed and besieged everything from homes to schools to hospitals to shelters to even camps and zones it had previously designated as “safe”.

Since Oct. 7, Israel has killed more than 67,160 Palestinians in Gaza, with 20,000 being children and many under the age of two.

It has injured more than 169,583 others, mostly women and children.

Gaza City is officially in a famine, entirely man-made by Israel, the global hunger monitoring system, the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) reported.

As Israel continues to block aid from entering and target aid workers and Palestinians trying to get aid.

More than 460 Palestinians have been killed by starvation, including 154 children and more than 2,610 Palestinians have been killed while trying to reach aid, making aid a “death trap,” with at least 19,143 others injured.

It is a fact that the world hasn’t seen anything like Israel’s destruction in Gaza since World War II.

In fact, it would take until at least 2040 to fix the damage Israel has caused in Gaza.

Yet despite the global pressure from numerous UN resolutions, politicians' demands for a ceasefire, huge, unprecedented protests in Israel and worldwide, many countries recognizing Palestine as a state, the UN General Assembly (UNGA) adopting a resolution in 2024 demanding that Israel end its illegal occupation of Palestine within one year, Israel has continued its genocide.

It’s time for the world to stop allowing Israel to act without facing consequences. Two years on, it’s not too late. Demand a ceasefire. Demand a free Palestine.
