Iran's Supreme Leader Threatened The US With "Irreparable Damage" After Trump Told Iran To Surrender
Khamenei said that “the Iranian nation is not one to surrender” and that wise individuals who know Iran’s history never speak to the nation with threats.

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has threatened the US with "irreparable damage" if the US military intervenes in its war with Israel.
On Friday, June 13, Israel launched a large-scale, unprovoked attack on Iran’s nuclear and military facilities, and since then, the two countries have been exchanging attacks, with dozens killed on both sides, plunging the Middle East into a new war.
US president Donald Trump then demanded on his Truth Social platform on Tuesday, June 17, an “unconditional surrender” from Khamenei and warned that the US knows “exactly” where Khamenei is hiding.
“He is an easy target, but is safe there — We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now. But we don’t want missiles shot at civilians, or American soldiers. Our patience is wearing thin,” Trump said.
Trump then told reporters on Wednesday, June 18, that unconditional surrender means “I’ve had it. I’ve had it, I give up. No more. Then we go blow up all of the nuclear stuff that’s all over the place there.”
In response in a televised address on Wednesday, Khamenei rejected Trump's calls, labeling it "threatening and absurd" and adding that Iran stands firm against “imposed war” and “imposed peace.”
He said that “the Iranian nation is not one to surrender” and that wise individuals who know Iran’s history never speak to the nation with threats.
Khamenei then added that any US military involvement would be "100% to its own detriment" and that the damage inflicted on the US would be far greater than any harm Iran might experience.
