Israel Has Killed Another 70 Palestinians In Gaza Who Were Just Waiting For Flour
Gaza's Civil Defense said that a crowd had gathered in the hopes of receiving flour when Israeli soldiers fired on them with tank shells, machine guns and drones.

Israeli forces killed at least 70 Palestinians and injured another more than 200 who were waiting for flour in Khan Younis, in southern Gaza on Tuesday, June 17.
A spokesperson for Gaza's Civil Defense said that a crowd had gathered in the hopes of receiving flour when Israeli soldiers fired on them with tank shells, machine guns and drones.
“Israeli drones fired at the citizens. Some minutes later, Israeli tanks fired several shells at the citizens, which led to a large number of martyrs and wounded,” the spokesman said, Al Jazeera reported.
Survivors told Al Jazeera that people were lying motionless and bleeding on the ground while Israeli soldiers continued to fire on people as they fled.
Meanwhile, medical sources at Nasser Hospital told Al Jazeera that they were unable to identify many of the victims because they had been "shredded to pieces" in the attack.
It was the deadliest day around aid sites by the controversial Israeli- and US-backed aid agency Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) since it launched operations to distribute food on May 26.
More than 397 Palestinians have been killed and more than 3,031 injured while trying to collect aid from GHF's sites since.
Israel has placed Gaza under a total blockade for almost three months since March, only allowing GHF to enter and distribute a trickle of food aid to feed 2.3 million Palestinians, who are facing famine.
Rights groups, including the United Nations, have condemned the GHF's distribution methods, calling it a "trap" for starving civilians, leading to mass casualties instead of relief.
The Israeli military said its soldiers had spotted a gathering near an aid truck near where they were operating and that there were "several casualties" after they opened fire on the crowd, according to AP.
Israeli authorities added that they are investigating the incident.
