Israel Blew Up Gaza’s Only Cancer Treatment Hospital, Claiming Hamas Was Using It As A Base
Before Israel began its genocide, the Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital had been the only hospital in the Gaza Strip equipped to serve patients.

In its latest attack on Gaza's healthcare system, Israel's military has blown up the only cancer treatment hospital in Gaza.
The Israeli military confirmed that it had bombed the Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital in central Gaza on Friday, March 21 after footage of the explosion was shared on social media.
The Israeli military said it had carried out an airstrike on Hamas members living inside the hospital.
It claimed without evidence that Hamas had turned the hospital into a "terror infrastructure", adding that the building had not been used as an active hospital for over a year.
Before Israel began its genocide, the Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital had been the only hospital in the Gaza Strip equipped to serve patients.
The hospital ran out of fuel after Israel began its attacks and was forced to shut down in November 2023, after it was also hit by an Israeli airstrike.
The Israeli military then used the hospital as its own military base, according to the Washington Post.
The bombing came after Israel resumed its genocide in Gaza on Tuesday, March 18, after refusing to proceed with phase two of the ceasefire and killing more than 400 Palestinians in less than 24 hours.
Israel has since killed more than 590 Palestinians since it broke the Gaza ceasefire on Tuesday,
UNICEF said at least 200 children in Gaza have been killed since Tuesday.
Israel has repeatedly targeted hospitals in Gaza throughout its genocide, bombing and destroying several healthcare facilities throughout the strip under the guise of targeting Hamas.
To date, it has yet to provide evidence.
