Israel Killed Nine Palestinians In Gaza, Including Three Journalists, As It Refuses To Implement The Ceasefire

Israel has killed at least nine Palestinians, including three journalists, in Gaza with a drone attack as it refuses to implement the second phase of the ceasefire.
Palestinian media reported that Israel launched the attack on Saturday, March 15, targeting a relief team accompanied by journalists and photographers in Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza.
The Palestinian Journalists' Protection Center said the journalists had been documenting humanitarian relief efforts in Gaza.
The Israeli military said in a statement that it had struck "two terrorists... operating a drone that posed a threat" to Israeli soldiers, according to Al Jazeera.
It added that "a number of additional terrorists" later collected the drone operating equipment and entered a vehicle, so it struck "the terrorists".
However, this is not the first time that Israel has killed Palestinians since the ceasefire went into effect on Jan. 19.
Since then, Israel has been killing an average of three Palestinians in Gaza every day, according to the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor.
Hamas called the attack a “horrific massacre” and “a continuation” of Israeli “war crimes against our people and a dangerous escalation that reflects its insistence on continuing its aggression and disregard for all international laws and conventions”.
It also called on ceasefire mediators to pressure Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu to move forward with the previously agreed phase two of the ceasefire.
Netanyahu has instead rejected phase two, saying that Hamas must now accept a new US deal that would involve extending phase one of the ceasefire by 50 days and Hamas releasing all the Israeli hostages.
After Hamas refused, Israel cut off all aid and electricity to Gaza, which remains under a full blockade.
