Israel Bombed A Water Distribution Site In Gaza, Killing 10 People, Including Six Children, Getting Water
The attack occurred on Sunday, July 13, as dozens of Palestinians lined up with containers to collect water during a severe water shortage in Gaza.

Israel has launched an airstrike on a water collection site in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, killing at least 10 people, including six children.
The attack, which injured at least 17 others, occurred on Sunday, July 13, as dozens of Palestinians lined up with containers to collect water during a severe water shortage in Gaza.
Water shortages in Gaza have worsened sharply in recent weeks due to Israel’s blockade on the strip, with fuel shortages causing desalination and sanitation facilities to close.
People are now dependent on water collection centers where they can fill up their plastic containers.
The Israeli military said it was targeting an Islamic Jihad militant with its attack, but a “technical error” caused the missile to land “dozens of meters from the intended target,” resulting in civilian casualties.
Gaza’s media office said Israel has killed more than 700 Palestinians, mostly children, while they were collecting water since Oct. 7, 2023, adding that water has been used as a “weapon of war” in Israel’s genocide in Gaza.
Israel also killed more than 92 Palestinians in Gaza on Sunday as it intensified its attacks across the Strip as part of its plan to force all Palestinians in Gaza into a camp on the ruins of Rafah, which has been condemned by experts as a blueprint for crimes against humanity.
Intentionally depriving civilians of water and attacking water infrastructure is a war crime under international humanitarian law.
