Israel Bombed A Hospital In Southern Gaza To Kill A Hamas Leader, Killing At Least Two People
The airstrike killed senior Hamas official, Ismail Barhoum, who was receiving treatment after being injured in a previous airstrike, as well as a 16-year-old boy who had recently undergone surgery.

Israel attacked the Nasser Hospital, the largest health facility in southern Gaza, to kill a Hamas leader.
Israel launched an airstrike on Sunday, March 23, at the Nasser Hospital, in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, killing two people, a senior Hamas official, Ismail Barhoum, who was receiving treatment after being injured in a previous airstrike and a 16-year-old boy who had recently undergone surgery.
Al Jazeera journalists captured the moment an Israeli airstrike struck the surgical building of the Nasser Hospital, blowing it up.
Israeli forces said it attacked the Hospital to eliminate Barhoum after "an extensive intelligence-gathering process.”
Hamas officials said Barhoum was receiving treatment at the hospital after an airstrike injured him earlier in the week.
This is the latest of Israel’s attacks on healthcare facilities in Gaza.
It comes just two days after Israel blew up the Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital, the only cancer treatment hospital in Gaza, claiming Hamas has turned into a "terror infrastructure.”
Israel resumed its genocide in Gaza on March 18, after refusing to proceed with phase two of the ceasefire and killing more than 400 Palestinians in less than 24 hours.
Israel has since killed more than 730 Palestinians, including at least 200 children, since it broke the ceasefire on March 18.
Israel has repeatedly targeted hospitals in Gaza throughout its genocide, bombing and destroying several healthcare facilities throughout the strip under the guise of targeting Hamas without providing evidence.
