Israel Has Bombed Another UNRWA School In Gaza Sheltering Displaced Palestinians, Killing 20 People
The attack happened “without warning” while civilians, including women and children, killing at least 20 people.
Israeli forces have bombed another UNRWA school sheltering displaced Palestinians in Khan Younis in Gaza on Wednesday, Dec. 15.
Israeli forces bombed the school during the night while civilians, including women and children, were asleep.
The attack happened “without warning,” killing at least 20 people, according to Al Jazeera reporter Tareq Abu Azzoum.
Videos shared on social media showed the school on fire and bodies scattered on the ground.
Israel has been repeatedly attacking schools and camps sheltering civilians and designated as “safe” zones, killing thousands of people.
It has also repeatedly targeted UNRWA’s facilities in Gaza, killing at least 237 UNRWA workers, the most UN workers killed in the entire history of the organization.
Israel has now killed more than 45,028 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and has been deliberately attacking civilians, destroying infrastructure and deploying starvation as a form of warfare, according to a recent report by a UN special committee.
The report found that Israel’s methods are consistent with genocide.
In addition to its genocide in Gaza and attacks on Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, Israel has now declared Syria as its fourth war front.
It has annexed the Golan Heights to be part of Israel “forever” and taken over more Syrian lands since rebels toppled the Bashar al-Assad regime on Dec. 8.
