Israel Finally Allowed Five Aid Trucks Into Gaza After 80 Days But Also Launched A Huge Ground Invasion
Netanyahu said it had only allowed "basic" aid due to pressure from allies, adding that the aid would be "minimal".

Israel has finally allowed five aid trucks to enter Gaza after more than 80 days of total blockade on over 2.3 million people but also launched at the same time a huge ground operation to take over Gaza.
Israel has been blocking all aid from entering Gaza since March 2.
On May 19, it let five aid trucks enter Gaza to feed 2.3 million people, far short of the 600 trucks needed to even begin tackling the humanitarian disaster in Gaza caused by Israel’s blockade.
Netanyahu said it had only allowed "basic" aid due to pressure from allies, adding that the aid would be "minimal".
A day earlier, Israel launched a new "extensive ground invasion" in Gaza.
The ground invasion is part of Israel's new plan, "Gideon's Chariots," to fully take over and occupy the Gaza Strip indefinitely.
The operation is targeting both north and south Gaza, issuing new evacuation orders, leaving nowhere safe for Palestinians.
Since then, Israel has killed hundreds of people, bombing camps and hospitals as it continues to intensify its attacks.
Meanwhile, Israel and Hamas have resumed ceasefire talks in Qatar, with no agreement as of May 21.
