Israel Has Launched A New Ground Invasion Of Gaza, Seizing Control Of A Corridor Separating The Strip
The Israeli military said it has seized control of the center of the Netzarim Corridor, which separates north Gaza from the rest of the strip.

Israeli forces have launched a new ground invasion of Gaza just days after it unilaterally ended the ceasefire and resumed its genocide.
On Wednesday, March 19, the Israeli military announced that it had begun "targeted ground activities" in central and southern Gaza, seizing control of the center of the Netzarim Corridor, which separates north Gaza from the rest of the strip,
The military said said its goal is "to expand the security zone and to create a partial buffer" between the north and south of the Strip.
Israeli troops had withdrawn from the corridor in February as part of phase one of the ceasefire deal to allow Palestinians in central and southern Gaza to finally return home to the north after more than a year of the genocide.
Al Jazeera reported that Israeli occupation of the corridor will now prevent the free movement of Palestinians inside Gaza.
The ground invasion came after Israel launched massive airstrikes on Gaza on Tuesday, March 18, killing more than 400 Palestinians in less than 24 hours after refusing to implement phase two of the ceasefire, originally set to begin on March 1.
Instead, Israel has been insisting that Hamas must now accept a new US deal, which would extend phase one by 50 days in exchange for Hamas releasing the remaining 59 hostages, most of whom are believed to be dead.
It then blocked all humanitarian aid and cut off electricity to Gaza when Hamas refused.
Netanyahu also confirmed that Israel had returned to fighting with force in Gaza and said that it is “only the beginning”.
