Thousands Of Israelis In Jerusalem Have Marched To Netanyahu's Home, Demanding His Resignation

Thousands of Israelis in Jerusalem have marched to Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s home on Thursday, June 27, demanding his resignation.

They lit a bonfire and called for his resignation and for him to agree to a deal to free the 120 hostages still held in Gaza.

The demonstration blocked the traffic on the central street in Jerusalem.

"We think that [Netanyahu] has to make a bigger effort to bring back the hostages. We want him down because he's a major, corrupted person. He lies and thieves the country and the people. He doesn't do the job,” a protester named PROTESTER, Ethen Galy told Reuters.

“He wants the war endless. So we thinks he's a jerk and he has to go. And we are demonstrating against him,” Galy added.

Two days later, more than 100,000 people also marched in Tel Aviv to demand Netanyahu’s government do more to return all the hostages and end its war on Gaza.

Protests in Israel have become more frequent as the war on Gaza continues and as Israel looks to move the fighting toward Lebanon in the north, where it has been clashing with Hezbollah.
