Israel Dug A Huge Hole In North Gaza And Mass Rounded Up Palestinian Men, Children And Wheelchair Users

Israeli forces have shared a video of it mass rounding up Palestinians near a giant hole it had dug in Jabalia in north Gaza on Oct. 18.

On Oct. 6, Israel launched a ground military operation in Jabalia, Beit Hanoon and Beit Lahia in north Gaza, before it imposed a total siege, cutting off more than 400,000 Palestinians from the rest of the Gaza Strip and leaving them without access to food or water.

Since then, it has killed more than 300 people.

The video showed Palestinian men and children, including some people in wheelchairs, were detained by Israeli forces.

Israeli officials said it had rounded up the Palestinians to prevent Hamas from regrouping, adding that they found weapons with one of them.

Photos and videos from the scene have gone viral online, with many online questioning why the Israeli military had placed some of the men it detained, handcuffed and blindfolded, in the hole.

Others pointed out the images do not depict a mass evacuation like what Israeli forces have claimed, but ethnic cleansing.

Palestinian officials called Israel’s besiegement and intensified attacks on north Gaza a “genocide within the genocide”.

In addition to its siege on north Gaza, Israel is continuing its attacks on central and south Gaza and intensifying its military operations in the West Bank.

This is not the first time Israeli forces have shared videos of themselves rounding up Palestinians.

Earlier in December 2023, Israeli forces shared a video of it rounding up and stripping Palestinian men and children and elderly with their hands tied in a stadium in north Gaza.

Israel has killed more than 42,603 Palestinians, mostly women and children since it began its genocide in Gaza on Oct. 7, 2023.
