BTS’ Jungkook And Jimin Are Finally Out Of The Military And Fans Are Excited For The Band's Comeback
With all seven members soon to be reunited, the group has assured fans that a long-awaited comeback is on the horizon.

K-pop superstar Jimin and Jungkook from South Korean boy band BTS have also officially fulfilled their mandatory military service on Wednesday, June 11.
Their return follows the discharge of RM and V on June 10, and comes just ahead of the final member, Suga, who is set to complete his alternative service as a social service agent on June 21.
Jimin and Jungkook were welcomed back by hundreds of fans gathered outside the military base, who had closely followed their journey since enlisting together in December 2023.
The two both served in the Republic of Korea Army’s 5th Infantry Division, the same unit where eldest member Jin previously served and later became an assistant instructor before his discharge last year.
Following their discharge, Jimin thanked fans for standing by them through both the pandemic and their service, saying, “Now that we have been discharged, I believe we can continue picturing the future we’ve been envisioning together. We’ll work hard to show you a better version of ourselves.”
Jungkook also expressed his gratitude to those who supported them throughout their military journey.
BTS has not performed together as a full group since 2022, as each member fulfilled their mandatory military service.
