This 26-Year-Old South Korean Actress And Model Has Been Found Dead In Her Home

Jung Chae-yul, a 26-year-old South Korean actoress has been found dead in her home.
Her death on Tuesday Apr. 11 was announced by her agency.
No cause of death was disclosed.
“Actress Chae-yull has left our side on April 11, 2023. We pray that Chae-yull, who has always been sincere about acting, is able to rest in peace in a warm place,” the statement said, according to New York Times.
Starting out as a model in South Korean fashion competition reality show “Devil’s Runway” in 2016, Jung began her acting career two years later with a leading role in the movie “Deep”.
She also starred in the award-winning comedy drama “Zombie Detective”, which streamed worldwide on Netflix and won the “Best Challenge” award at the 2020 KBS Entertainment Awards in South Korea.
In “Zombie Detective”, Jung played alongside actors Choi Jin-hyuk and Ha Do-kwon as a police officer and crime squad member.
On Instagram, Ha posted a selfie of himself and Jung on set, adding the caption “The sound of us saying we must collaborate again this year still rings in my ear… You had always been a beautiful, shining actress.”
A budding actress, Jung had been working on a new series, “Wedding Impossible”, which has temporarily suspending filming.
Her death has once again raised concerns over sudden deaths of young people, including performers, in South Korea.
