King Charles Was Heckled Over His Brother Prince Andrew’s Ties To Late US Sex Offender Jeffrey Epstein
"How long have you known about Andrew and Epstein?" a man is heard shouting at Charles from the crowd, adding, “Have you asked the police to cover up for Andrew?”
King Charles was heckled outside a church over his brother Prince Andrew’s connections with late US sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The incident took place on Monday, Oct. 27, while Charles visited Lichfield Cathedral in Staffordshire.
"How long have you known about Andrew and Epstein?" a man is heard shouting at Charles from the crowd, adding, “Have you asked the police to cover up for Andrew?”
In March 2001, Virginia Giuffre, previously Virginia Roberts, one of Epstein's victims, had said Andrew had sexual relations with her when she was just 17 years old, adding that it was part of Epstein's trafficking scheme.
Prince Andrew has continuously denied the allegation, but public scrutiny has continued after Andrew was photographed with Epstein after Epstein pleaded guilty for trafficking minors.
Public outrage was further renewed with Giuffre’s memo released in October, following her death in April.
In it, she had written in detail that Andrew raped her on three separate occasions when she was underage and trafficked by Epstein.
Andrew had suspended royal duties back in 2020, but officially gave up his royal titles after discussions with Charles on Oct. 17.
Andrew will no longer publicly use titles like Duke of York, Knight of the Garter, Earl of Inverness or Baron Kilkeel.
He will remain Prince and keep his dukedom as this can only be stripped from by order of Parliament.
Opposition parties have been trying to put forward a motion in parliament to discuss Andrew’s dukedom, but so far, the government has refused to give lawmakers time to discuss the issue.
