Amini, who died on Sep. 16 after spending three days in a coma, was allegedly beaten up by the police inside the van while being taken to the detention center, according to eyewitnesses.
And from Beirut to the UK, Chile to Toronto, people around the world are also gathering in demonstrations in solidarity with Iranian women, who are standing up for their rights.
