Meghan Markle Shared A Video Of Her Dancing To Induce Lilibet’s Birth And People Still Found A Reason To Be Mad
While many fans celebrated the joyful moment, many, including several mainstream media outlets, predictably criticized it, calling it "cringey" and "attention-seeking".

Meghan Markle has shared a video on her Instagram of her dancing to induce labor while heavily pregnant with her daughter, Lilibet, to celebrate Lilibet's fourth birthday.
The video shared to her Instagram on Wednesday, June 4, showed Meghan and Prince Harry dancing to the song "Baby Mama Dance" by "Mic Drop Mama" while in the hospital.
"Four years ago today, this also happened. Both of our children were a week past their due dates… so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn’t work - there was only one thing left to do! 😂" she wrote in the caption.
The video immediately went viral, gaining 33.4 million views.
While many fans celebrated the joyful moment, many, including several mainstream media outlets, predictably criticized it, calling it "cringey" and "attention-seeking" and even questioning if Markle had faked being pregnant in the video.
Since Markle became linked with Harry, she has faced an unprecedented and relentless wave of hate driven by a toxic mix of racism and misogyny, which were amplified by the media.
Dancing while pregnant, including as a way to try to induce labor, is common and generally safe, and is usually recommended as a light exercise in late pregnancy.
