Netanyahu Met Trump Again And Nominated Him For The Nobel Peace Prize For "Forging Peace" In The World
“He’s forging peace as we speak, in one country, in one region after the other,” Netanyahu said.

Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu has officially nominated US president Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize.
During a meeting in the White House on Monday, July 7, Netanyahu praised Trump for his “peace efforts” in the Middle East, specifically his role in brokering the Abraham Accords and pursuing peace initiatives in the region.
“He’s forging peace as we speak, in one country, in one region after the other,” Netanyahu said, adding that the nomination is “well deserved.”
During the meeting, the two leaders also spoke about forcibly moving Palestinians out of Gaza, saying that the US and Israel are close to finding several countries that are willing to take Palestinians to give them a “better future.”
Netanyahu also said that Palestinians should have their own state but the “sovereign power, like overall security, will always remain in [Israel] hands.”
“Now people will say, ‘It’s not a complete state, it’s not a state, it’s not that.’ We don’t care. We vowed never again. Never again is now. It’s not going to happen again,” he added.
Trump had said on the eve of his meeting with Netanyahu that a peace deal in Gaza could be achieved soon and that Hamas wants a ceasefire.
Trump had proposed a 60-day truce that included Hamas releasing 10 live and 18 dead Israeli hostages in five stages.
Israel would also release an unknown number of Palestinian prisoners and withdraw from parts of Gaza, where it now controls about two-thirds of the territory.
However, Hamas is demanding a guarantee that negotiations would continue after the 60 days to achieve a permanent ceasefire, as well as ending the work of the US- and Israeli-backed controversial aid agency Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), as Palestinians keep getting targeted and killed while seeking aid from the organization, a report the US has not yet addressed, according to the BBC.
Israel has killed more than 758 Palestinians and injured more than 5,005 others who were trying to reach aid through GHF since GHF began operating on May 26.
