Netanyahu Met Trump Again And Said He Agreed To His 20-Point Peace Plan For Gaza
The plan excludes a full Israeli withdrawal, offering only a partial pullback tied to a staged hostage release between Hamas and Israel.

Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu met US president Donald Trump again and said he has agreed to his 20-point peace plan to end Israel’s genocide in Gaza.
On Monday, Sept. 29, Trump received Netanyahu at the White House in Washington DC for the fourth time, despite the International Criminal Court issuing arrest warrants for Netanyahu due to crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Trump’s 20-point peace plan included Hamas releasing all Israeli hostages, dead and alive, in exchange for Israel releasing 250 Palestinians serving life sentences and 1,700 more who were arrested after Oct. 7, 2023.
For each hostage’s body returned, Israel would also release the remains of 15 Palestinians.
However, the plan does not include a full Israeli withdrawal from Gaza, and Israeli forces would instead only withdraw to an agreed-upon line inside Gaza to prepare for a hostage release.
The plan said that all military operations, including aerial and artillery bombardment, will be suspended during the release process within 72 hours of Hamas agreeing to the deal and battle lines will remain frozen until “conditions are met for the complete staged withdrawal”.
It also included the establishment of a transitional government made up of Palestinian and international officials, the “deradicalization” of people in Gaza, the movement of aid to end famine in Gaza and preventing the displacement of civilians in Gaza, among other things.
Trump said he will put together a “peace” board to oversee the implementation of the plan.
The plan said that nobody would be forced out of Gaza.
It also calls for the establishment of an economic zone to attract investment, a Trump-branded development initiative to create jobs, and interfaith dialogue programs to promote co-existence.
A pathway to Palestinian statehood is mentioned but only after the Palestinian Authority, which governs parts of the occupied West Bank, reforms and “New Gaza” is secure and rebuilt.
Until then, the board led by Trump would guide the transition per the plan.
Netanyahu also said that if Hamas rejects or fails to uphold the terms that it will “finish the job by itself.”
