This Peruvian Police Officer Caught A Drug Dealer By Dressing Up As A Teddy Bear With A Valentine’s Note
The disguised officer knelt on one knee outside the alleged drug dealer’s home with a heart-shaped balloon and a poster that read, “You are my reason to smile”.
A police officer in Peru has gone viral for using an unconventional method to bust a drug dealer on Valentine’s Day.
On Tuesday, Feb. 13, a day before Valentine’s Day, police officers in the capital, Lima, conducted an operation to catch an alleged drug deal that involved an officer disguised as a teddy bear carrying a sweet message.
The disguised officer is filmed kneeling on one knee and waiting outside the alleged drug dealer’s home with a heart-shaped balloon and a poster that read, “You are my reason to smile”.
A woman can be seen coming out of the house, with police arresting her on the spot and later inspecting her home for drugs.
Authorities reported that a woman and her daughter were detained during the operation called “Love bear for security”.
On Facebook, Peru’s national police posted the video on Valentine’s Day with the caption, “Whoever loves you, looks for you.”
This is not the first time police officers in Peru have disguised themselves to capture drug dealers.
Last year, officers disguised themselves as Avengers for Halloween.
