This Woman In Poland Died After She Was Denied An Abortion And People Are Protesting
Dorota’s husband told Polish media that no one at the hospital told them that Dorota could be saved by inducing a miscarriage because the fetus had a very low chance of survival.
Protests have erupted in Poland after a woman died after she was not given an abortion that could have saved her life.

33-year-old Dorota had been 20 weeks pregnant when her water broke and was taken to a hospital in May.

Her husband told Polish media that no one at the hospital told them that Dorota’s life was in danger or that she could be saved by inducing a miscarriage because the fetus had a very low chance of survival.

The fetus did not survive, and Dorota died of septic shock three days later.

Dorota is not the first woman to die as a result of the ban.
