This Beloved 11-Year-Old Palestinian Girl Known For Her Cooking Videos Has Safely Evacuated Gaza
Renad is believed to have evacuated to Maastricht with her twin brother and her older sister Nourhan, who received a scholarship to a university in the Netherlands.

11-year-old Palestinian girl Renad Attallah, known for her joyful cooking videos despite Israel’s genocide in Gaza, has evacuated to the Netherlands.
On Aug. 27, Renad posted a black image with the word “Goodbye” to her 1.5 million Instagram followers.
For nearly two years, she had filmed herself cooking with whatever she could find under blockade and food shortages.
In her final clip before leaving, she showed herself making “famine bread” in the “Gazzan Way”, using macaroni soaked in water because there wasn’t enough flour.
Her sudden silence after the “Goodbye” post sparked fear among followers who had watched her grow up online through Israel’s bombardment and man-made famine in Gaza .
Days later, relief came when she shared a new photo by a canal in Maastricht, the Netherlands, captioned simply: “a genocide survivor.”
Renad is believed to have evacuated to Maastricht with her twin brother and her older sister Nourhan, who received a scholarship to a university in the Netherlands.
However, their mother remains trapped in Gaza, separated from her children.
“I had to leave my mom in Gaza with the rest of my family, because we didn’t get the chance to leave all together. And now, even though I got out of Gaza and away from the war, I’m sitting on the other side of the world with no mom, no dad, no family, and no country,” Renad posted on her Instagram story.
