Russia Has Hit Ukraine With Multiple Drone Attacks Across The Country, Killing At Least Seven People
The attacks struck several parts across Ukraine, including the capital Kyiv.

Russia has intensified its drone attack across Ukraine overnight on Sunday, March 23, ahead of a ceasefire discussion with the US in Saudi Arabia.
The Ukrainian military said Russia launched 147 drone attacks, killing at least seven people, including a five-year-old child, and injuring at least 10 people, according to AP.
The attacks struck several parts across Ukraine, including the capital Kyiv.
Video footage of the aftermath showed apartments with burned interiors and holes across the walls of residential buildings.
“We woke up because of the explosion. I don’t know how it happened, but I ended up lying by the window. Bright flashes. We turned on the light and all the windows were shattered. It happened so fast,” an 18-year-old Ukrainian woman told Reuters.
On Monday, March 24, a Russian missile attack hit a school in Sumy, northeastern Ukraine, injuring 74 people, including 13 children.
“These attacks are a daily reality,” Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote on X.
“This week alone, over 1,580 guided aerial bombs, nearly 1,100 strike drones, and 15 missiles of various types were used against our people,” he added.
Russia has not commented on the attacks, but its military said it struck down 59 Ukrainian drones on Sunday.
The attacks come as the US and Russia are meeting in Saudi Arabia to discuss a possible ceasefire deal and an end Russia’s war on Ukraine.
