Organizers say more than 100,000 people showed up. People celebrated LGBT rights as well as Taiwan’s success in containing the coronavirus outbreak.
Taiwan became the first country in Asia to legalize same-sex marriage in 2019, and on Friday, its military’s annual mass wedding included two same-sex couples for the first time.
