British diver Tom Daley, who is competing in his fifth Olympic Games, has been spotted knitting once again in the stands in Paris.
30-year-old Daley was in the stands to cheer for fellow British divers Yasmin Harper and Scarlett Mew Jensen during the women’s 3 meter synchronized springboard event on Saturday, July 27.
Daley is an avid knitter, saying it helps with stress relief.
He first gained widespread attention for his knitting at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021, when he was first spotted knitting in the stands.
He has since published a knitting and crochet manual titled “Made with Love” and has an Instagram account, @madewithlovebytomdaley, dedicated to his yarn creations, which has more than 1.2 million followers.
For the Paris Olympics, Daley has shared his plans to create a Paris-themed cardigan featuring Team Great Britain’s colors and an Eiffel Tower design.
He is set to compete in the 10 meter synchronized platform dive with Noah Williams on July 29.
