Trump Has Gone Against Netanyahu And Said There’s "Real Starvation" In Gaza That "Can’t Be Faked”
"I mean, some of those kids are — that's real starvation stuff. I see it. And you can't fake that."

US President Donald Trump has publicly spoken against Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, calling the situation in Gaza “real starvation” during remarks on Monday, July 28.
“We can save a lot of people (in Gaza). I mean, some of those kids are — that's real starvation stuff. I see it. And you can't fake that,” Trump said.
His comments came a day after Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu called reports of starvation in Gaza a “bold-faced lie.”
“Israel is presented as though we are applying a campaign of starvation in Gaza. What a bold-faced lie. There is no policy of starvation in Gaza, and there is no starvation in Gaza,” Netanyahu had said at a summit on Sunday.
When asked about Netanyahu’s claim, Trump responded, “I mean, based on television, I would say not particularly, ‘cause those children look very hungry.”
“We’re sending money and food, but we’re not there. I want him to make sure they get it — every ounce of food,” he added.
Gaza’s health ministry reported on Monday that at least 14 people had been killed from starvation and malnutrition in the past 24 hours.
The number of people killed from hunger and malnutrition in the war has now reached 147, including 88 children, many of them in just the past few weeks.
