American singer Billie Eilish slammed the US president Donald Trump administration's anti-immigration policies and the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) at the Grammy Awards, saying “no one is illegal on stolen land,” and “fuck ICE”.

ICE has been under scrutiny for its violent anti-immigration raids in the US in recent weeks and killing 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good and ICU nurse Alex Pretti in Minnesota.

On Sunday, Feb. 1, Eilish   won the Song of the Year award at the 2026 Grammys for her song “Wildflower.”

During her acceptance speech, Eilish urged people to speak up against ICE’s aggression.

“No one is illegal on stolen land,” Eilish said. “I feel like we just need to keep fighting and speaking up and protesting, and our voices really do matter, and the people matter.”

“Fuck ICE is all I wanna say, sorry,” she said in the end.

Eilish and her brother and collaborator Finneas were among many artists who attended the award show wearing “ICE OUT” pins.

Many artists also spoke out during the award ceremony against the Trump administrations and ICE, including Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny, who made history as the first Latin artist to win Album of the Year

“We’re not savage, we’re not animals, we’re not aliens, we are humans, and we are Americans,” he said.

British singer Olivia Dean, who won her first Grammy for Best New Artist, also shared a heartfelt message against the US’ immigration policies during her acceptance speech, saying, “I’m up here as a granddaughter of an immigrant. I am a product of bravery, and I think that those people deserve to be celebrated.”
