A young Palestinian man has been captured wading through the flooded streets of Jabalia camp in northern Gaza, carrying the dead body of another child.
The moment was captured by a Palestinian journalist, Anas Al Sharif, who has been reporting live on-the-ground from Gaza, on Wednesday Dec. 3.
In the video, the man can be seen carrying a dead body wrapped in a white cloth, who was reportedly a sibling, as he walks down the street with water up to his knees.

Strong winds and heavy rain hit Gaza on Wednesday and affected several refugee camps throughout the Palestinian territory.
Rain flooded tents and drenched clothes and blankets in Rafah camp in southern Gaza and the aal-Aqsa Martyrs hospital in central Gaza.
“We tried as much as we could to protect ourselves so water would not get through but rain got in … This plastic does not protect people sleeping under it,” a Palestinian man told Reuters.
With sewage systems damaged, stagnant rainwater can raise the risk of diseases in Gaza, where the health system has collapsed as a result of intense Israeli bombardment.
The WHO’s general director has warned that “given the living conditions and lack of health care, more people could die from disease than bombings”.
