Over 100,000 People In Germany Held A Huge "All Eyes On Gaza" Rally To Protest Israel’s Genocide
Protestors demanded that the government stop exporting weapons and called for EU sanctions against Israel.

Tens of thousands of people marched through Berlin, Germany — one of Israel’s biggest allies — in the “All Eyes on Gaza” protest, demanding the country stop exporting weapons to Israel, allow full humanitarian access to Gaza and calling for EU sanctions against Israel.
The rally held on Saturday, Sept. 27, which was organized by about 50 groups including pro-Palestine organizations, Amnesty International and Medico International, was the city’s largest Gaza solidarity demonstration to date, with over 100,000 participants according to organizers.
Meanwhile, police estimated around 50,000 participants, Israeli outlet Haaretz reported.
Protesters chanted "Freedom for Palestine," "Stop the genocide in Gaza" and "Israel bombs, Germany funds."
Hundreds of motorcyclists also joined the protests in Berlin and in Düsseldorf.
The demonstration also featured speeches and performances by political figures, activists and artists such as Jewish musician Michael Barenboim, who said the protest's goal to raise awareness against genocide in Gaza.
"The Israeli government's actions have long been described as genocide by experts and international organisations, and the International Court of Justice is investigating them as such. While everyone can see how the Israeli military is committing mass atrocities in Gaza, the German government denies the systematic violence," organisers said in a statement, according to TRT.
In 2023, Germany approved arms exports to Israel worth €326.5 million (US$363.5 million), including military equipment and war weapons, a 10-fold increase from 2022, according to data from Germany Economy Ministry.
Israel’s genocide in Gaza has now killed more than 66,005 Palestinians in Gaza, mostly women and children.
