Israel Bombed 50 Buildings In Gaza City In Two Days And Is Now Ordering One Million People To Fully Evacuate
Netanyahu said the Israeli air force had bombed at least 50 residential towers in Gaza City in just two days as he promised, claiming that the military was “eliminating terror towers."

Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu has told Palestinians in Gaza City to “leave” as the Israeli military dropped thousands of leaflets ordering the complete evacuation of the city ahead of Israel’s full take over operation.
In a statement on Monday, Sept. 8, Netanyahu said that the Israeli air force had bombed at least 50 residential towers in Gaza City in just two days as he promised, adding that it is only the beginning before it fully takes over Gaza City.
Netanyahu claimed that the military was “eliminating terrorist infrastructure,” calling it “terror towers,” claiming Hamas could use the residential buildings.
Israel bombed Al-Ruya tower, a five-story building with 24 apartments, department stores, a clinic and a gym, the Soussi Tower, a 15-story building, the 12-story Mushtaha Tower and many other residential towers.
Then on the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 9, Israeli forces dropped thousands of leaflets over Gaza City, ordering over one million Palestinians to leave Gaza City and move south towards Al-Mawasi, where shelters are already overcrowded and unsafe due to Israel’s continuous attacks.
“I am taking this opportunity, and listen to me carefully: You have been warned. Leave now,” Netanyahu said in his video statement.
On Aug. 29, the Israeli military said it began “preliminary operations and the initial stages” of its attack on Gaza City, adding it will suspend the humanitarian pauses in Gaza City and warned civilians to evacuate.
Israel has also called up more than 60,000 Israeli army reservists who were set to report for duty on Sept. 2 to join the operation, according to The New York Post.
Military sources and Israeli media said the full-scale takeover is expected to begin in mid-September.
Israel’s genocide in Gaza has now killed more than 64,605 people, more than 83% of whom are civilians, and Gaza City is officially in a man-made famine created by Israel.
At least 399 people, including 140 children, have been killed due to malnutrition in Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023.
