Boudiya sustained minor injuries from glass shards as the blast shattered the windows and walls around him, according to Middle East Monitor.
An Israeli missile injured Fadi Boudiya, a Lebanese journalist and editor-in-chief of Lebanese outlet Maraya International, while he was reporting live from his home in southern Lebanon's Al-Bekaa region.
A viral video of his live report for iNews showed Boudiya losing balance and screaming as the wall behind him collapsed when the missile struck.
Boudiya sustained minor injuries from glass shards as the blast shattered the windows and walls around him, according to Middle East Monitor.
The incident occurred on Monday, Sep. 23, the same day Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon killed at least 492 people and injured 1,645 others, making it one of the deadliest days of Israeli attacks in Lebanon since 2006.
Israel has been launching thousands of missiles on southern Lebanon after declaring it is expanding its war goals to allow Israelis who fled areas near the Lebanese border to return home safely.
On Sep. 18, explosions from hundreds of pagers and electronic devices rocked Lebanon, killing 12 people, including two children, and injuring 2,800 others.
The next day, Israel detonated hundreds of walkie talkies and other wireless electronic devices across Lebanon, increasing the death toll to 37 and injuring nearly 3,000 more people.
Israel then launched over 70 airstrikes across several towns in southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley on Sep.19.
Then, on Sep. 20, an airstrike on Beirut killed at least 45 people and injured nearly 68 others as Israel targeted senior Hezbollah commander Ibrahim Aqil.
In response, Hezbollah began retaliating by attacking several sites in northern Israel.
Since then, cross-border fighting has escalated as both sides launch attacks and fire rockets.
At least 569 people, including 50 children, have now been killed, and 1,835 others have been wounded across Lebanon, according to the Lebanese Health Ministry.
