11-year-old Palestinian girl Renad Attalah, known for her joyful cooking videos despite Israel’s genocide in Gaza, has posted a heartbreaking video, listing the foods she hasn’t eaten because of the mass starvation caused by Israel’s blockade.

In the video, Renad stares into the camera, flipping through a stack of papers listing the food she hasn’t had in months, like eggs, chicken and meat, candy, fruits and milk.

There were sounds of planes flying overhead in the background.

“They’re real,” she wrote.

“For your information, in just the last week, more than 85 children in Gaza have died from hunger,” she added.

Renad has been posting about the humanitarian crisis in Gaza caused by Israel’s genocide and blockade, warning that children, and even animals, have been starving for months.

Since March 2, Israel has blocked all aid from entering Gaza, leaving more than 2.3 million Palestinians to starve for more than 80 days and allowed only a “basic” amount of aid to enter, but through the controversial US- and Israeli-backed aid agency, Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF).

113 people, including at least 80 children, have been killed due to malnutrition in Gaza since Israel began its blockade on Gaza, according to Gaza’s health ministry.

On Sunday, July 27, under immense international pressure, Israel announced it is implementing a daily "tactical pause" in three parts of Gaza to facilitate humanitarian aid delivery as another 14 Palestinians have died from starvation in Gaza.
