Zelenskyy said that Ukraine has information that there are many more Chinese citizens in the occupier’s units than just these two.

Ukraine says it has captured two Chinese fighters allegedly fighting as part of the Russian army in the Donetsk region in Ukraine.
A video shared by Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Tuesday, April 8, showed one of the Chinese fighters wearing a military uniform with his hands tied describing a battle.
He said the two were found in possession of identification documents, bank cards and other personal data and are now in the custody of the Security Service of Ukraine.
Zelenskyy said that Ukraine has information that there are many more Chinese citizens in the occupier’s units than just these two.
Ukraine said it has summoned China's diplomatic mission’s chief in Kyiv for an explanation.
China, which is an ally of Russia, has rejected the allegations that its citizens have been fighting with Russian forces in Ukraine, saying they are “absolutely groundless.”
“The Chinese government has always asked its citizens to stay away from areas of armed conflict (and) avoid involvement in armed conflicts in any form,” China’s foreign minister said.
China has insisted that it is a neutral party in Russia’s war on Ukraine and does not supply “lethal assistance” to either side, Al Jazeera reported.
There has been no immediate comment from Russia.
Speaking on Wednesday, April 9, Zelenskyy said that Ukrainian intelligence had found that 155 Chinese nationals are fighting alongside Russia inside Ukraine and that the number might be higher.
He has called for an immediate response from the US, European nations and “all those around the world who want peace.”
Russia has also deployed thousands of North Korean troops to the western region of Kursk, Ukrainian officials say.
