British People Get Ham Sandwiches Confiscated At Dutch Border Because Brexit

After the UK officially left the European Union on Jan. 1 this year, people from the UK traveling to the Netherlands are getting their food, such as ham sandwiches and tinned sardines, confiscated by customs officials at Dutch ports.

Under strict new rules on importing meat, fruit, vegetables and fish from outside the EU, travelers from the UK are banned from bringing in meat and dairy products into the EU, according to the Guardian.
