However, figures from the Gaza Health Ministry have consistently proven to be credible in the past and have “held up to UN scrutiny, independent investigations and even Israel’s tallies,” according to AP.

More than 11,000 Palestinians in Gaza, including more than 4,700 children, have been killed by Israeli airstrikes and a ground offensive since Oct. 7, according to the ministry.

Both the death counts of 1,200 Israelis and over 11,000 Palestinians do not currently distinguish between soldiers and civilians.
