France’s President Called Trump After He Was Blocked From Crossing The Street By Trump’s Motorcade
Macron called Trump to complain that “everything is frozen for you,” forcing him to walk 30 minutes on foot.

In an unusual scene, French President Emmanuel Macron was blocked from passing the street in New York by US police in order to allow US president Donald Trump pass in a motorcade.
On Monday, Sept. 22, after delivering a speech at the UN General Assembly recognizing Palestine, Macron could not take a car to pass the streets after police stopped and told him that he has to wait until Trump’s motorcade passes.
Macron was heard negotiating with the police officer to let him cross if he can’t see the motorcade passing.
When the officers insisted he had to wait, Macron then called Trump to complain and told him, “Guess what? I am waiting on the street because everything is frozen for you.”
Despite the call, Macron had to continue on foot and walked for 30 minutes.
Before ending the call, Macron told Trump he would love to meet with him and Qatari officials to talk about Gaza.
The unusual exchange caught people’s attention, with people saying that Trump had humiliated Macron.
But another video of Trump taking an escalator that immediately stopped working after he stepped on it appeared, and people said it is payback for Macron.
Macron had formally recognized Palestine as a state at at a high-level summit co-organized by France and Saudi Arabia earlier in the day, which the US boycotted.
“We must do everything within our power to preserve the very possibility of a two-state solution, Israel and Palestine living side by side in peace and security,” Macron had said.
