Ukraine Has Hit Russia With Its Biggest Drone Attack Since Russia’s Invasion In 2022
Russia said it shot down 343 drones across Moscow and Kursk region.

Russia has said Ukraine hit Moscow and nearby Russian regions with its biggest drone attack since Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022.
Russian officials said the country shot down 343 drones across the Moscow and Kursk regions on Tuesday, March 11, with the attacks killing three men and injuring 18 people, including children, according to the BBC.
Moscow’s mayor described it as the biggest drone attack from Ukraine on the city, according to Reuters.
Moscow’s four major airports have put flight restrictions in place following the drone attack.
Ukraine’s military said its attack targeted strategic facilities, such as an oil refinery, that supported Russia’s war on Ukraine.
It added that “a number of civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged as a result of the actions of the Russian aggressor’s air defense”, according to Al Jazeera.
Ukraine’s attack comes hours before the US and Ukraine are set to meet in Saudi Arabia to discuss a mineral deal and an end to the war.
